QUAL ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
We have an exciting senior position in our Qual team for a focussed and driven Associate Director. The team’s focus is research with global clients in the Tech & Entertainment and Life & Style sectors including the world’s leading streaming service and the world’s largest technology company. You’ll be part of a dynamic team of researchers working closely with quantitative colleagues across diverse and stimulating projects.
What you need?
- Around 6 years’ experience in qualitative research role
- Proven experience working at a senior level with commercial sector clients, building relationships and delivering excellent work
- Strategic and creative mind that derives the ‘so-what’ implications from the insight
- Confident in leading on analysis and writing, distilling key recommendations from findings
- Fluency in traditional and digital approaches, both in recommending and conducting
- Experience in producing high quality proposals and effectively presenting at pitches
- Enjoyment of enabling junior colleagues to grow and develop
- Open and responsive to feedback
Key responsibilities
- Day-to-day project lead – providing oversight and direction throughout project lifecycle and moderation of research
- Account management – working closely with Research Directors to be a client ‘thought-partner’
- Leading on designing research and proposal writing (on PPT/ Word)
- Client management and communication – e.g. weekly client calls, ad-hoc “quick” requests
- Training and developing juniors on projects, bringing the best out of people and teams
- Effective delegation and task allocation to ensure efficient ways of working on your key accounts
- Quality assurance and peer reviewing

QUAL RESEARCH EXECUTIVE
The role:
We have an exciting position in our Qualitative team for a bright and enthusiastic Research Executive. We are looking for a Research Executive to join our team working on ad hoc qualitative research for a dynamic, award-winning market research agency. You will work with a portfolio of leading technology and entertainment clients. The ideal candidates will have experience working with technology brands or show a genuine interest in doing so - you'll be working with some of the biggest names across gaming, video content, mobile, consumer tech, and everything in-between!
In this role, you will have the chance to get involved in all stages of the research project lifecycle, enabling you to develop your research skills in an agency environment, learning in a supportive and encouraging team. You will be working on projects from the proposal stage through to presenting the deliverables. On a typical day you would be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple research projects and helping to deal with any issues that might arise. You will be expected to plan and manage project timelines, lead on tasks such as script checking, as well as playing a key role in the analysis, interpretation and reporting to create insightful, thought provoking reports that answer the clients’ brief. You’ll be joining a small team of around 5 people, sitting within the wider team of the US office which includes 5 quantitative researchers.
While your allocated department will often form the majority of your workload, we do require an openness to work across the qualitative department, including assisting with the recruiting/fieldwork setup as workload dictates.
What you need?
Seen as something of a learning role. You will be able to execute tasks to clear instructions, and are looking to build experience to take on more autonomy as quickly as possible. You should be a fast learner, and love EXPLORING research, our clients’ businesses, to build up your own experience.
Experience should be at a technical level and focus on research processes. You should have worked through the project process multiple times to understand ‘what great work looks like’. Specifically you will have:
- Ideally 1-2 years’ experience of qualitative research
- contributed to screener and discussion guide creation,
- observed and potentially moderated some focus groups and depth interviews
- monitored fieldwork progress,
- written analysis frameworks,
- created project updates and materials that are clean, effective, error-free and engaging,
- and are proficient in the digital tools of our trade such as MS Office

QUAL RESEARCH EXEC

VIDEO CREATIVE
We have an exciting junior position in our creative team for a bright and enthusiastic video content creator and editor. You’ll be part of a dynamic team working closely with the research teams and marketing colleagues in the UK, US and Asia across diverse and stimulating projects. 2CV works with some of the most well-known global brands from diverse sectors, including Ralph Lauren, PlayStation, Sega, BBC, L’Oreal, Peloton and Costa Coffee, to name a few.
This post would suit someone in their second or third role, looking for a role where they’re able to progress and contribute to a refreshed creative offer across the business.
What you need?
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in creating and editing video content working within the Adobe Cloud Suite (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effect, Illustrator, Lightroom And Photoshop). You will need to be able to work on both Windows and IOS systems
- Motion graphics design skills desirable, although not essential
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workflow
- Able to work to deadlines and budgets, with an attention to detail
- Great communication skills – ability to collaborate effectively with teams across the business to bring video ideas to life
- Enthusiasm and creativity!

- Collaborating with teams to plan, film, edit and deliver video outputs for a variety of unique projects and presentations
- Championing the use of video across the business and promoting its benefits to clients and colleagues
- Accurately estimating time and resource requirements for video-based projects
- Actively managing 2CV video equipment, project files and associated software accounts
- Keeping up to date on latest video techniques and methods to ensure our offer remains relevant

QUAL SENIOR RESEARCH EXEC
We have an exciting position in our Qual team for a bright, enthusiastic Senior Research Executive looking for a new challenge. The team’s focus is research with global clients in the Tech & Entertainment and Life & Style sectors including the world’s leading streaming service and the world’s largest technology company. Many of the projects are international and you’ll have the chance to work with our colleagues in the United Kingdom and Singapore.
While your allocated team will often form the majority of your workload, there is also the opportunity to work on projects across the qualitative department (Social and Commercial) if you would like to broaden your skill set. Many of the projects are international and you’ll have the chance to work with our colleagues in the United States and Singapore.
What you need?
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in qualitative research (some quant experience is a bonus, but not required)
- Strong interest in understanding in how organisations behave - what makes businesses tick and exploring the challenges they face
- Understanding of different research methods from traditional to digital qual as well as an interest in/basic understanding of quant and how it works in tandem with qual
- Strong project management skills and experience of running digital communities and online focus groups/depths (from set up to analysis)
- Experienced in producing quality outputs at each from discussion guides through to final reporting.
- Moderation skills for depths, groups etc. f2f and/or online
- Produce and lead comprehensive and clear analysis. Understanding what a great insight story looks like, and are starting to experiment with creating their own, supported by directors
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills, written and verbal. Experience delivering presentations to clients in an engaging manner
